Join the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo as a Facility Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in maintaining the zoo's infrastructure. This full-time position offers an opportunity to support wildlife and visitor services.
In this role, you will be responsible for preventive and demand maintenance tasks while learning a variety of skills related to building repairs and upgrades over at least five years of experience in maintenance. Interacting closely with tradespeople and zoo staff, you will help maintain a safe environment for animals and guests alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interior and exterior repairs efficiently
• Carry out daily maintenance safely and on time
• Manage materials procurement per zoo policies
• Lead innovative solutions for maintenance challenges
• Document completed work within CMMS framework
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience
• High School Diploma required
• Class 5 Driver’s license proficiency
