You will be an integral part of the Soils and Materials team, collaborating with project engineers to conduct critical on-site materials testing. Engage in both field and laboratory work, ensuring that construction materials meet quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct concrete tests including slump and air content
• Utilize a nuclear densometer for density testing
• Perform coring for asphalt and concrete samples
• Collect various soil and asphalt samples on site
• Execute lab tests: Proctor, geotechnical index tests
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of relevant testing experience
• Understanding of Calgary's construction specifications
• Enrollment in a Civil Engineering Technology program preferred
