Calgary Field Engineer for Construction Projects

Be part of Aecon's Calgary team as a Field Engineer, responsible for ensuring construction projects comply with engineering standards. This role focuses on the Deerfoot Trail Improvements Project, featuring multiple bridges and interchanges.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with project crews to ensure efficient resource availability and adherence to the production schedule. Your role will also involve collecting and analyzing project data to maintain quality standards, as well as evaluating potential risks impacting the budget or timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review production schedules with project crews
• Collect and analyze design specifications and materials
• Evaluate daily performance against project targets
• Notify management on significant schedule changes
• Manage project cost coding and documentation
