Broadcom Central Engineering is looking for a qualified individual who can provide best‑in‑class development and support for CAD tool flows focused on advanced process nodes.
Responsibilities
- This individual will be hands‑on, heavily involved in day‑to‑day support of design/layout issues and develop, maintain, and support utilities to improve productivity.
- Prior experience in one or more of the following domains is required:
- Development or maintenance of existing Calibre DRC/LVS decks for advanced FINFET nodes.
- Creation and maintenance of CAD PDK environments (tool installations, layout environment customization using skill etc.).
- Providing EDA tool support and flows for circuit simulation, EMIR, Aging using industry standard tools like Spectre, Hspice etc.
- Block level place and route experience using industry standard EDA tools to gather PPA metrics.
