**Planner / Buyer**
**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinates incoming material considering quantity and timing in order to maintain the desired inventory level, zero line downs, minimize final product past due, also optimize the production system utilization to analyze better the inventory status.
- Expedites raw material in case of getting close to a low inventory level or when the transit incoming material could cause a line down or when there is a production schedule increase.
- Coordinates the supplier issues in order to make sure they deliver on time, for any reason that could cause a risk of stopping the production schedule flow.
- Control DOH (Days-on-Hand Inventory) to meet Materials department goals.
- Analyze monthly forecast in the short and long term to identify and prevent material shortages, inventory obsolescence or excess inventory.
