Job Responsibilities
- Lead the new product development process from ideation to launch including formulation development, maintenance of stability testing, product optimisation, shelf life and transferring technical know-how to support engineers.
- Plan, perform tests, analyse for sensory evaluation and product improvement, respond quickly to test issues in the products.
- Participate on cross functional teams to ensure effective resolution of complex technical issues arising by customers.
- Keep up to date with latest technologies developed by fundamental research laboratories and production process/equipment developments.
- Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams or multinational organization/bakery suppliers/customers.
- Analyse consumer insights, food trends and provide strategic direction for product development in cooperation with the relevant Business Development Unit & Marketing Team.
