IRB Barcelona's Innovation Department is looking for a Business Development Manager to accelerate the translation of biomedical research into patient impact to expand the institute's commercial partnerships — with a particular focus on microbiome and microorganism-related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage pharma, biotech, and investor partners to build a pipeline of licensing, sponsored research, and collaboration agreements.
- Lead negotiations and close technology transfer agreements.
- Map market opportunities and support spin-off creation and entrepreneurial initiatives.
- Manage IP service providers and coordinate with legal and regulatory advisors.
- Drive proof-of-concept projects and secure dedicated funding to advance technologies toward market.
