The Role
The Business Analyst provides functional and non‑functional requirements to the development teams, explains the system behavior to various stakeholders, and supports the sales process with their in‑depth product knowledge.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Translating the prioritised problems into business requirements (user stories, use cases, visual modelling, diagramming, dataflows, etc).
- Engaging with clients to gather, analyse and refine requirements for new feature requests.
- Working with the solution definition team to create and communicate a technical solution for a given problem, including:
- Writing acceptance criteria for user stories.
- Translating business and user requirements into functional and non‑functional requirements, specified to an appropriate level of detail that can be used for development.
- Reviewing completed work from development and updating the documentation accordingly.
