Building Operator Level 2

Role Description

The Building Operator, Level 2 is an intermediate position responsible for performing maintenance and repair activities at Cloverdale Shopping Centre. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Building Operator ensures that the building(s) are managed and maintained in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and to the highest level of operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, electrical, roofing, fire prevention and life safety systems and maintain updated records of such activities.
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping tasks, including painting, sweeping, litter pick‑up, and pressure washing.
• Conduct and log environmental and preventative maintenance assessments and/or inspections; maintain daily maintenance logs of all base building equipment.
