Champion safe, compliant building practices by ensuring that all construction within the municipality meets Manitoba Building Code standards, municipal by‑laws, and other applicable regulations. As a Building Inspector (Part 9), you will play a key role in supporting responsible development, enforcing construction standards, and promoting safety and quality across the community.

This is a full‑time position.

The goal of the role is to:

• Promote safe, code‑compliant construction throughout the municipality.
• Ensure adherence to the Manitoba Building Code, Plumbing Code, Energy Code, Fire Code, and municipal regulations.
• Provide timely, knowledgeable service to residents, builders, contractors, and design professionals.
• Support responsible growth by reviewing permits, inspecting construction, and enforcing building standards.
