Position: BSMarE Instructor
Place of Assignment: College Faculty
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months of seagoing experience as an Officer in Charge of Engineering on seagoing ships with main propulsion machinery of 750 kW or more.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience is preferred; however, entry-level candidates must be willing to undergo training.
- Completion of the Training Course for Instructors (IMO Model Course 6.09) or an equivalent course approved by the Maritime Administration.
- Completion of the Training Course on Assessment, Examination, and Certification of Seafarers (IMO Model Course 3.12) or an equivalent course approved by the Maritime Administration.
- Preferably possess a Master's degree (ongoing studies are acceptable).
