We are recruiting a BSL Support Worker to provide support for pupils with hearing impairments across a range of educational provisions in Gateshead.

This varied role offers the opportunity to work closely with children, families and educational professionals to ensure pupils receive the support they need to flourish academically and socially.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing communication support using BSL
• Supporting access to teaching and learning
• Promoting independence and inclusion
• Assisting with emotional and social development
• Building strong relationships with schools and families
