Brake Press Operator sets up, programs, and operates the press brakes to bend sheet metal.
Responsibilities include interpreting technical blueprints, managing CNC control software,
performing quality inspections, and ensuring the safe operation of the machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation & Setup: Load, program, and operate Salvagnini systems (such as the B3 press brake) using onboard
CNC software, barcode scanners, or automated elaboration programs.
- Adjustments: Adjust machine parameters (such as tonnage, bend angles, and back-gauge positions) for specific material
types and thicknesses.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, technical specification sheets, and fabrication schematics to ensure final
parts meet exact tolerances.
