Description

Operate borewell drilling rigs and related machinery.

• Perform site inspection and identify suitable drilling locations.
• Drill borewells according to depth, diameter, and safety standards.
• Install casing pipes, screens, and gravel packing.
• Conduct flushing, air lifting, and well development operations.
• Identify groundwater levels and soil/rock formations during drilling.
• Maintain and repair drilling equipment and tools.
• Ensure proper alignment and stabilization of drilling rigs.
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment.
• Coordinate with helpers, rig operators, and supervisors.
• Record drilling depth, water yield, and material usage.
• Comply with local groundwater regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in pump installation and testing after drilling.
