Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple clients
  • Manage AP, AR, GL, payroll, and reconciliations
  • Perform month-end & quarter-end close
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports
  • Handle payroll processing, tax forms (T4, T5 good to have)
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide financial insights
  • Review junior team members work and ensure quality

Preferred candidate profile

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in bookkeeping (external clients preferred)
  • Strong experience in QuickBooks / Xero
  • Hands-on experience in payroll processing
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end accounting lifecycle
  • Experience handling multiple clients independently
  • Good communication and stakeholder management
