Responsibilities
- Shape and form metal body panels to required specifications.
- Perform chasing and finishing on automobile body parts.
- Repair and restore vehicle body panels using hand and power tools.
- Identify dents, creases and damage and restore to original shape.
- Work on custom fabrication and body modification projects.
- Ensure high quality finish on all bodywork.
- Maintain tools and work area in clean and safe condition.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in auto body shaping and chasing.
- Strong hands-on skills in metal shaping and panel beating.
- Experience working with steel and aluminium body panels.
- Ability to use hand tools, hammers, dollies and shaping equipment.
- Knowledge of vehicle body structure and repair techniques.
- Physically fit and able to work in workshop environment.
