As a blaster within the Pomerleau civil engineering & infrastructure team, you’ll work closely with all team members in coordinating the work. Working on large-scale construction projects – ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion – you'll have the opportunity to participate and collaborate with team members to ensure that work is carried out according to specifications.
What You Will Do
- Checks and maintains drilling and blasting equipment and accessories;
- Organizes and carries out blasting operations or any other work requiring the use of explosives;
- Repares, organizes and carries out drilling operations using hydraulic drills;
- Dynamite trenches, masses and road networks (pipeline);
- With proper training and a valid card, the blaster may be required to use handling and motorized equipment such as forklifts, aerial work platfor...
