Responsibilities
- Performs tests, repairs, calibrates and maintains medical equipment.
- Disassembles equipment and adjusts, troubleshoots and replaces faulty and worn mechanical parts.
- Maintains detailed record of repairs and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all medical equipment.
- Assures that equipment’s are in compliance with the medical facilities standards and best practices.
- Consistently consults with the medical staff, instructing them on the operation of equipment and any issues with regard to its functionality.
- Responsible for notifying the supplier and/in service provider regarding the repair words needed in particular equipment.
- In charge of receiving warranty, operating manuals, and schematic diagrams of the equipment from the supplier.
