Biomedical Equipment Technician Ii (Antofagasta)

The Biomedical Equipment Technician II must possess intermediate-level experience in the planning, integration, repair, calibration, and maintenance on basic to complex biomedical equipment and instrumentation, and the associated support systems used in healthcare delivery, working under general supervision.

• Perform routine repair and maintenance on a variety of medical equipment on-site and at satellite facilities.
• Work from drawings, technical manuals, and other specifications to troubleshoot and repair medical and related equipment.
• Use a logical sequence to troubleshoot equipment, properly identify and correct malfunctions in a timely manner, and perform post-repair testing to confirm equipment function.
