Billing Specialist

**BILLING SPECIALIST**
Now hiring in Mexico City, Mexico for a leading maritime contractor to the U.S. Government providing ship management services.
This position reports to our Government Accounting Manager supporting our accounting functions with a focus on billing our governmental customers.
This position is an on-site position with the opportunity for a hybrid remote work schedule.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Prepare weekly invoices to government customers for multiple contracts/vessels.
- Monthly tracking and follow-up of unbilled receivables.
- Process monthly journal entries.
- Assist with account reconciliations.
- Review detailed supporting documentation to ensure it meets the requirements of government customers for billing purposes.
- Research and review accounting records for proper documentation, if missing.
- Create adjusting journal entries to correct errors in coding, when needed for proper categorization for billing purposes....
