Job Description
The Bilingual Assessor will administer French/English language assessments to newcomers based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks in French/ English. The Assessor will also provide referral information on training options, and work out of various locations or remotely as needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the successful implementation of the language assessment and referral services model and ensure maintenance of the operating standards and protocols at all locations
- Screen clients for eligibility for language training programs based on immigration status, age and learning history
- Administer CLB standardized tests to assess the language skills of eligible clients
