**GENERAL SUMMARY**:
We are seeking a BI Developer to work with a high-performance team and help the delivery of Analytics & Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
The main mandate is to ensure that projects assigned will be delivered on time, automatizing tools to support the operation and by creating dashboards for executives towards strategic decisions to optimize costs within our material network.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Work with the Business Analyst to have a clear understanding of the data and business rules of the existing or future state solution.
Develop data models using MS Power BI while leveraging best practices (Star Schema, Naming Conventions, Facts and Dimensions).
Give recommendations related to Power BI datasets performance.
Work in coordination with the project owners and the analytics team in an agile (Sprint) way to deliver on identified initiatives.
Integrate new data sources by calling APIs using Python.
