Behaviour Support Assistant

Monarch Education is working with a complex needs school in the BS4 area of Bristol to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant.

The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and associated physical or communication needs. Pupils may require support with mobility, personal care and sensory-based learning.

This role involves working closely with pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis, supporting both their learning and day-to-day care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for pupils with complex needs
• Support small groups with sensory and structured learning activities
• Assist with personal care where required
• Support feeding, mobility and use of specialist equipment
