Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Backup & Commvault Engineer to manage, support, and enhance our enterprise backup and data protection environment. The role focuses on Commvault Complete Data Protection, ensuring reliable backups, fast restores, disaster recovery readiness, and strong protection against data loss and ransomware.
Key Responsibilities
Backup & Recovery Operations
- Design, implement, and maintain Commvault backup and recovery solutions
- Manage Commvault components including CommServe, MediaAgents, and Clients
- Configure storage policies, schedules, deduplication, and retention
- Perform and support file-level, VM, and application-level restores
- Ensure backup success, performance optimization, and SLA compliance
