Work will be in a warehouse performing functions such as receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. The role includes loading and unloading product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas. The employee reads production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. They convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas, sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code, operate a gas or electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts, finished goods, etc., may load/unload trucks, and may use a Hi‑Rise to load items in storage racks.
