AVP, Settlements Operations - Toronto

Job Description

Jefferies is growing our Canadian Operations team within the Canadian broker dealer, as such, we are seeking an individual with expertise in back office operations in both Canada and US markets. In this position, you will be handling and/or supervising day-to-day transactions as it relates to the Canadian broker dealer activity including, but not limited to syndicate support, pre-matching, and fails management.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with our agent bank network, trading desk, and internal corporate partners as we continue to grow and expand our business offerings
• Manage and provide excellent client experience as it relates to internal and external client inquiries, and resolution of transactional issues pre and post trade in partnership with Middle and Front Office peers
• Responsible for daily settlement functions within the Canadian and US Markets
