POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting in the removal/installation and setup of avionics electrical components, fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, and ring-out.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assists in installations, modifications, and the fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with wire schematics, work instructions, and engineering drawings. Specific tasks may include:
- Marking the wires using a laser wire labelling machine;
- Sorting, combing and tying wires into specific bundles;
- Installing clamps, tie-wraps and associated hardware;
- Terminating wires with appropriate pins and connectors;
