SMS Manager main roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Responsibilities Propose the safety objectives of the SMS within the entity and according to the safety policy
Ensure compliance with local regulations in terms of aviation safety and answer to the local authorities
Prepare, organise and conduct the Aviation Safety Reviews of the entity and compile the report
Perform the analysis of the risk identified
Follow up the implementation of corrective and preventive measures linked to Aviation Safety
Liaise with the Corporate Aviation Safety Risk Officer during the Aviation Safety Risk
Review for the management of AS Risks that can impact the business; follow up and coach the risk analyses and associated action plan
Implement and follow Safety Performance Indicators (SPI) linked to the entity
Ensure that all detected events are analysed with the appropriate level of detail in accordance with the level of severity, and actions are taken in response to any sa...
