Amentum is a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the U.S. government, allies, and critical infrastructure sectors. We are seeking an Automotive Fabrication Technician to support a unique U.S. Navy program based on the island of Diego Garcia.
Job Responsibilities
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles that have been in accidents.
- Fabricate body parts and brackets out of aluminum and steel.
- Work with the body/paint technician to restore vehicles to like-new condition.
- Assist management in estimating damages and writing accident quotes.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of welding/fabrication experience in body welding or automotive/truck repair.
- Proficiency in aluminum and steel sheet and structural welding.
- Ability to use a plasma cutter and acetylene/oxygen torches.
