Automation/Instrumentation Technician – Brooks, Alberta

We are currently seeking an Automation Technician to join our team at our main processing facility in Brooks, AB.

NOTE: THIS ROLE WILL BE LOCATED IN BROOKS, AB

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE

You will:

• Design, implement and maintain PLC, HMI and SCADA-based control system
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated systems, including PLCs, HMI, VFD, Sensors and actuators
• Integrate field devices including sensors, actuators, and instrumentation into control systems
• Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and measuring instrumentation equipment
• Collaborate with maintenance, production and IT team to optimize processes
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control schematics for troubleshooting and project work
