Job Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise automation systems design, including hardware, software (PLC, HMIs, etc.).
- Establish proper programming standards and databases for automated processes.
- Validate and approve electrical & mechanical diagrams, instrumentation and technical specifications for each automated system.
- Assist engineering personnel in testing and evaluating new technologies, equipment, or techniques.
- Identify and request spare parts required for the systems.
- Maintain a list of materials and costs, and register them in the proper area.
- Evaluate and approve equipment installation on the production floor according to layout drawings.
- Lead automation projects from concept, participate in the quoting process and be accountable for flawless launch.
