Automation Engineer (Tijuana)

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Automation Engineer located in Tijuana B.C. Reporting to the Automation Manager, the Automation Engineer role involves

1. Develop automation requirements and specifications.
2. Develop budget and schedule for projects and manage projects to stay within them.
3. Conduct equipment design reviews and provide design guidance to suppliers.
4. Manage automation suppliers through all phases of projects.
5. Provide on-site support during machine build, debug and testing/qualification.
6. Support new product development automation needs, facilitate assembly processes through the implementation of assembly cells and automated equipment at NPI stage and ensure meeting development timeline.
7. Interface with customers and functional owners on product development issues regarding automation.
