As an Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, implement and maintain PLC-based automation and control systems to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of battery-electric marine vessels. You will also support electrical systems integration, troubleshooting and the continuous improvement of automation performance within a maritime environment. - Develop, test, and maintain PLC programs for ship automation systems
- Evaluate the feasibility of integrating or adopting emerging cloud and infrastructure technologies
- Design and configure HMI/SCADA systems for monitoring and control
- Oversee improvements to maintenance capabilities by using automation for upgrades, enterprise back-up and storage
