Agropur is looking for an automation engineer to join its team in St‑Laurent. Reporting to the maintenance manager, the automation engineer will maintain, design, implement, and optimize the factory’s automated systems to support production line efficiency, hygiene compliance, and equipment reliability in a regulated dairy environment. Diagnose and resolve failures in automated systems to minimize production downtime and ensure operational continuity. Ensure compliance with electrical installation standards for the site. Maintain, design, program, and optimize PLCs and SCADA systems on process, packaging, and filling lines. Lead continuous improvement projects in automation (Lean, Kaizen) with production, maintenance, and quality teams. Manage CAPEX automation projects in collaboration with the site project manager.
