OverviewEaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking an Automation Engineer in the Electrical Sector's Protection, Control and Solutions business.
The primary objective of this role is to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations through deployment of Industry 4.0 tools and technologies.ResponsibilitiesManage Industry 4.0 projects including automation, digital core, IIoT, additive manufacturing, and systems integration; manage project objectives and timelines.Collaborate with cross‐functional resources to execute projects – Plant Leadership, Information Technology, Operational Excellence, Production, Quality, Facilities and Engineering.Work closely with Electrical Sector central resources and subject matter experts.Guide and support plant teams on machine connectivity and data acquisition activities.Serve as liaison to divisional Digital Factory Engineer and Manufacturing leaders.Align Industry 4.0 project objectives with each plant's continuo...
