AutoCAD Draftsman & Document Controller

Responsibilities

• Create technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Interpret and analyze design sketches, specifications and inputs from engineers.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, regulations and CAD drafting practices.
• Maintain organized CAD files and drawing records for easy access and reference.
• Coordinate with project engineers or architects for design clarifications and updates.
• Manage the flow, tracking, and distribution of incoming and outgoing documents such as drawings, submittals, transmittals and RFQs.
• Create and maintain project documentation logs, ensuring documents are properly categorized, indexed, filed and archived in both physical and digital formats.
• Liaise with internal teams, consultants and contractors to ensure timely submission and receipt of documentation.
