This is an Individual Contributor role based in Manila and/or Cebu and reports to Team Lead, Internal Controls Assurance. This role will undertake control audits across the Global QBE Finance environment, whilst also assisting with standardizing the process and control documentation across Finance, specifically reporting to QBENA MAR Compliance team. This role will require incumbents to use judgement to assess the operating effectiveness of controls, evaluate the adequacy of supporting documentation, and challenge divisional accounting teams to remediate control deficiencies. This will require experience and understanding of financial controls and an ability to distinguish what is acceptable and what is not.

This role also has a dotted (matrix) reporting line into the AVP, MAR Compliance.
