The AV Technician will provide high-quality technical and creative support across the Expressive Arts Faculty, including Music, Drama, and Art, ensuring smooth delivery of lessons, rehearsals, performances, events, and whole-school productions. The role involves preparing equipment, maintaining technical systems, supporting staff and students, and enhancing learning experiences through effective use of audio‑visual technology.
This is a hands‑on, dynamic role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent organisation, and a passion for supporting creative learning in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum & Lesson Support
- Prepare and set up AV, lighting, sound, projection, digital equipment and art supplies for Music, Drama, and Art lessons .
- Support teachers with technical requirements for practical lessons in all aspects of Music, Drama and Art, including recordings, showcases, and creative projects.
