Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Knowledgeable in all aspects of laundry operation. Can perform different tasks such as Guest Washer, DryCleaner, Checker, Presser, etc. Relieves all position whenever it is needed.
- Report on time, neatly dressed, and register attendance via Mizzisoft.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping for occupancy updates and special guest requests.
- Collect soiled linens and guest items, ensuring a complete laundry list.
- Operate washing machines and dryers, perform rust flushing, and clean equipment.
- Sort guest items by fiber, color, and condition; inspect for damage, valuables, and proper care.
- Follow safety protocols, including chemical checks, color bleeding tests, and reporting issues.
