Las Campanas Observatory, located in Chile’s Atacama Desert, is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineering Specialist (MES) for a one-year fixed term. The position involves working with an international team to support telescope and instrument operations, contributing to groundbreaking astronomical research.

The observatory offers a unique environment for scientific excellence, innovation, and professional growth. Candidates will work 7 nights in residence followed by 7 nights off, enjoying a collaborative atmosphere at one of the best stargazing locations globally.
