The Associate, Settlements reports to the Lead of Settlements and is responsible for the daily processing of trade settlements and payments. The role ensures that all transactions are executed accurately and within deadlines, oversees settlement‑related inquiries, and acts as a subject‑matter expert in business‑as‑usual operations.
Responsibilities
- Process and settle trades across the post‑execution life cycle, from trade matching through to settlement, ensuring accurate recording.
- Execute payment instructions received through the banking portal, including high‑risk, high‑impact and large‑value transactions.
- Act as a change manager, guiding the team through process changes arising from system updates.
- Develop and implement new business procedures and keep templates up to date.
