About the Role
BLG, Canada’s leading, innovative and client‑focused law firm, is seeking an Associate – Leasing. This position is open in the Ottawa and Toronto offices.
Responsibilities
- Complete document preparation and analyze files as they enter the firm.
- Draft and review lease contracts, and engage in independent negotiation.
- Run routine leasing matters with minimal oversight and work under limited supervision on more complex matters.
- Maintain client‑facing responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of leasing experience in in‑house practice or private law firm.
- Strong drafting skills and analytical abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Team player who can work independently and collaboratively.
- Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset.
Location
Ottawa or Toronto office. Bilingualism is an asset.
