Associate Lawyer, Defence Litigation (Civil Abuse)

Our Client Our client, a highly regarded national litigation firm, is seeking a talented Associate Lawyer to join its growing litigation team in Toronto.

This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with experience in civil litigation, insurance defence, and/or institutional liability matters to join a collaborative and sophisticated practice handling complex and high-profile claims,

Key Responsibilities Manage and advance a broad range of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution. Conduct examinations for discovery, mediations, motions, and other litigation proceedings. Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and legal opinions. Work closely with clients and provide strategic legal advice and litigation support. Collaborate with senior lawyers on complex and sensitive litigation files. Be largely self-sufficient and able to lead a large number of abuse claims. Support/provide a high level of service to existing clients and market to new clients.
