As an Associate IT Operations Engineer, you will be part of our global Operations department and work shifts with a team of IT Operations Engineers covering our 24/7 operations. This position works with open‑source technologies such as Linux, Apache, Tomcat, and Icinga, along with Windows, and some DTN proprietary software.
What you will be responsible for:
- Apply professional‑level technical skill and judgement to provide non‑routine technical support for IT operations, focusing on quick outage recovery and root cause analysis
- Manage incidents and communicate highly technical information to both technical and non‑technical personnel
- Create timely and accurate event notifications and incident logs
- Assist with systems administration, maintenance, and hardware and software upgrades
- Add to our knowledge database to ensure expertise sharing and learning from engineers located in various countries takes place
