Overview The Highway Engineer In Training (also known as Project Designer or Engineering Associate) in the Highways and Freeways group will help advance the growth of our Transportation Engineering practice for the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO). This position involves learning and applying MTO standards, policies, and practices while working on multidisciplinary projects such as rehabilitation, replacement, widening, and expansion of highways and freeways. The role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, quality, and trust and who seeks to foster growth within the group and the company.

Design Highway Engineering components under a professional engineer’s supervision on MTO transportation projects across Ontario, ensuring all milestones and goals are met.
