TheGeneral Counsel will support the Chief Group Counsel in providing strategic legal oversight across the JTC Group and will lead or support the delivery of clear, pragmatic legal advice on disputes, documentation, regulatory matters, risk, corporate transactions and broader business operations across relevant jurisdictions.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Deputise for and support the Chief Group Counsel across jurisdictions, including contributing to the leadership, development and coaching of other legal team members.
- Provide strategic and pragmatic legal advice to Group stakeholders, including senior management, client directors and business teams, across corporate, funds and private client activities. This includes support on disputes and litigation, insolvency and enforcement matters, corporate transactions, data protection, HR, operational change, regulatory issues, complaints handling and other business-critical legal matters.
