Assistant System Controller - Energy (Kuwait Pool - Based in UAE)

Responsibilities

• Operate the plant as instructed to ensure electrical power is safely and efficiently generated and distributed to meet the plant and 3rd‑party customer needs.
• Observe gas turbines, HRSGs, and steam turbines operating parameters to ensure maximum steam generation.
• Control and assist in the collection of accurate operational data to monitor performance and generate accurate invoices to 3rd‑party customers.
• Perform routine operational calculations, including efficiency and electrical fault level calculations, for approval at a higher level.
• Initiate start‑up and shut‑down of various plant equipment per Control Room Engineer/System Controller instructions.
• Monitor total system condition at all times (gas system, steam system, compressed air system, fuel system, etc.).
• Report temperature, vibration, and other operation‑pertinent alarms.
