Responsibilities
- Facilitate distance education instruction using innovative teaching methodologies and technologies
- Monitor, engage, and maintain open communication with learners regarding attendance, performance, and comprehension
- Attend nursing faculty meetings and participate in committees and shared decision‑making
- Assist in the development and modification of the nursing curriculum
- Support various modalities including experiential, didactic, evaluations, and NCLEX coaching
Requirements
- Graduate degree with a major in nursing from an accredited institution
- 1-2 years of experience in higher nursing education, preferably online
- Active, unencumbered RN or APRN license from state of residence
- Ability to obtain RN and NP licensure in required jurisdictions
- Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential or commitment to obtain it within one year
