Role Overview
The Assistant Engineering Manager oversees day-to-day plant engineering operations, ensuring that utilities, equipment, and preventive maintenance programs run efficiently and safely. The role includes supervising engineering personnel, optimizing systems, supporting troubleshooting activities, and ensuring plant compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily engineering activities, ensuring all plant utility systems (refrigeration, compressed air, power, steam, etc.) operate effectively.
- Oversee the execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks and ensure timely completion based on schedule.
- Recommend updates to PM work orders, schedules, and procedures as needed.
