Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals and within the scope of practice
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding and daily living activities
- Observe patient conditions and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Ensure patient rooms and medical equipment are clean, organized and ready for use
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols
